Good Morning, Good Afternoon, Happy Weekday, and Good Evening to my fellow Visionistas & go-getters!
I hope you all have been enjoying your week getting your WERK done and living life to the fullest! If you didn’t know, I am a music troll. I love all kinds of music. From production to writing to performance and whatever else happens when an artist creates music. My heart is always involved. So if you love music, this piece is dedicated to you…
Recently, I have been listening to a lot of independent artists but this one, in particular, is on the rise in such a way that I cannot even deal.
Before Noname became a big name, Fatima Warner was a simple chick with a huge personality from Chitown. Where Kayne and Chance The Rapper also began their music careers.Fatima’s love for blues began at an early age; listening to legends like Buddy Guy and Howlin’ Wolf.
Later she began her irreplaceable friendship with Chano, Chance The Rapper, who is also reviving music with his most recent album, Coloring Book, where she was featured in about two songs.

Fatima’s life was not all wonderful and great. She battled the guilt and darkness of abortion but used that energy to produce her album, Telefone. I love watching her story and live performance on Tiny Desk Concert, produced by NPR.org.Telefone is a heartfelt album about her life. The things she dealt with including abortion, life in Chicago, traveling and her music career. You can catch the album on Apple Music by clicking the photo below.
Fatima AKA Noname is a humble soul with authentic style, a unique voice who is earning global recognition. Get to know her, you won’t forget her.
